The Final Challenge: The Quest For the Holy Grail

The quest for a divine vessel was a popular theme in Arthurian legend long before medieval writers introduced the Holy Grail to British mythology. The Holy Grail has passed into everyday speech, and the legends behind it are as current in today's culture as they have ever been. And yet the Grail has no real religious meaning and is nowhere mentioned in the Bible. What is the truth behind this elusive symbol? What is the Holy Grail? What is the Seige Perilous? Who is Galahad? Who is  Joseph of Arimathea?  How did the Holy Grail become a part of the Arthurian legends? Your final challenge is to seek out the Holy Grail- the origin of the legend, the connection to King Arthur and England, and the story behind the grail.  Present your findings in an illustrated timeline. Add any specific location you discover to your map.
